Supervision

My intention is to create a safe, supportive and creative space for you, and to provide an environment where there is the potential for growth and inquiry.

My work is deeply guided by a wide range of theorists, writers and thinkers ranging from psychoanalysts such as Winnicott, Intersubjective systems theorists such as Professors Stolorow, Atwood and Orange through to Rogers, Bowlby, Kohut and Stern. An over-arching philosophical stance that I strive for is from Buber's idea of 'inclusion', an attempt to facilitate dialogue both within and without.

I adhere to the UKCP Ethical framework and will hold this as part of the container to work with you, to maintain the professional standards so that you and your clients will be able to feel you/they are receiving the best possible and professional therapeutic support possible.

I value each person as an individual and appreciate and support each individuals therapeutic style while maintaining the professional boundaries of the therapeutic training, qualifications and competency.

I offer a 50 minute session; fortnightly or monthly and top up sessions.

If you would like to find out more about coming to supervision, you are welcome to email.

I offer Clinical Supervision in Bath and Bristol to Psychotherapists and Counsellors and people working within the helping professions.

During the past three years I have been consolidating my Supervision experience by undertaking a Diploma in Supervision with the Centre for Supervision and Team Development (CTSD Bath) and am near to completion.

Telephone Sessions (for experienced and qualified therapists only): Please email me to discuss.
